Types of Commercial Washrooms

We understand the changing needs of the office environment.  Our office washroom designs include shower cubicles, lockers and changing room facilities for the ever-increasing number of employees who choose to walk, run or cycle to work to freshen up before the working day.

Our commercial washroom products are ideal for a variety of environments including:

Office Buildings

Government Buildings

Conference Centres

Self-Contained Toilet (Superloo)

The term “Superloo” has been coined to describe a small room that includes a toilet, hand wash and hand drying facility. We provide a solution that combines all these together with all plumbing and services neatly concealed neatly in the design.

These modern toilets are ideal for many situations including trans gender washrooms.

Superloo toilets provide the following advantages:

Private area for transgender individuals

A quiet place for parents to aid children

Contained area decreases chance of spreading germs

Compact layout maximizes usage of space

Solid Surface

Disabled Commercial Bathrooms

At Willis Systems, we want to make your disabled bathroom not only accessible but as stylish as all other bathrooms in your building. Our in-depth surveying and evaluation processes are invaluable to creating accessibility in the bathroom.

We keep updated on Doc M Pack building regulations and are able to design functional, cost-effective disabled washrooms fit for purpose, with optional smart toilets (acting much like bidets with washing and drying options), low level shower trays and half-height shower doors.

Unisex Washrooms

Gender neutral washrooms are becoming more common across the U.K., offering a stylish and inclusive alternative to separate male and female washrooms.  They require a smaller footprint, making your layout more profitable by optimizing space in your building design.  While each room is generally larger, condensing two separate blocks to a single block saves overall space in comparison.

Unisex washrooms are designed with common hand-washing areas including bespoke vanity units or troughs with close wash spaces to allow maximum vanity make-up area.  WC Cubicles are designed to be full height with sturdy flush-face fronts to maximize privacy.

Unisex toilets provide the following advantages:

Solving parents’ dilemma when accompanying children of opposite genders into toilets.

Helping transgender people decide which bathroom to use.

Reducing the time that women wait in line for the powder room.

Lowering costs due to shared common areas and absence of urinals.

Changing Places Toilets

Not every person with special needs has the same requirements.  Standard accessible toilets do not always provide enough space, nor the right equipment, for people in this varied demographic. Changing Places toilets are larger than standard accessible toilets (or “disabled toilets”) and should be provided in addition to accessible toilets.

People with profound and multiple learning disabilities, and other physical disabilities such as spinal injuries, muscular dystrophy and multiple sclerosis, often need extra space for carers and equipment to help them use the toilet safely and comfortably.
